Iran says no U.S. talks planned in coming days, sends expert delegation to Qatar for frozen assets release after weekend U.S.-Iran military exchanges across Gulf

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Monday that an Iranian experts delegation will visit Qatar this week to pursue the release of Iran's frozen assets, and that Iran will not hold talks at any level with the United States in the coming days. Baghaei said negotiations can begin only after implementation of a recently signed memorandum of understanding, following weekend U.S. airstrikes on Iranian military targets and Iranian missile attacks on U.S. facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain.
