Israeli police said in a statement Tuesday that they had arrested a U.S. citizen around 20 years old on suspicion of carrying out espionage missions for Iranian intelligence. The suspect, arrested three weeks ago, allegedly contacted operators on behalf of Iranian intelligence agencies and photographed sensitive sites, earning tens to hundreds of dollars per task. Police said the investigation is complete and the suspect will soon face charges of contacting a foreign agent and undermining national security.
