Director Alexander Sokurov should contact the competent authorities with a request to assist in lifting bans on the screening of a number of films, said Nikita Mikhalkov. Earlier, Sokurov published a letter on his Telegram channel addressed to Mikhalkov as president of the Moscow International Film Festival and chairman of the Union of Cinematographers. He drew attention to the existence of censorship restrictions on a number of films.
