Moscow restaurant IED blast kills 3, injures 21, Russia's NAC says; a woman tried to bring the device in near Kudrinskaya Square and a guard who blocked her is among the dead

Three people were killed and 21 others injured after an improvised explosive device detonated at a restaurant near Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow on Saturday, Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) said. A woman who attempted to bring the device into the restaurant was killed in the blast; one other fatality was a security guard who blocked her entry, and the third was a restaurant visitor.
