Poland to sign $27.5 bln in EU military equipment deals by end-May, PM Tusk says. The 100 bln zloty package under EU's SAFE program will benefit over 10,000 Polish firms.

Poland plans to sign agreements worth 100 billion Polish zlotys (approximately 27.49 billion USD) with the European Union by the end of May to finance military equipment purchases under the SAFE program, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Thursday.
