Iran ready to ship enriched uranium to China if it receives guarantees, sources say. Tehran seeks Beijing's assurances before finalizing deal with Washington; earlier floated Russia option.

Iranian authorities are ready to remove highly enriched uranium from the country if it is handed over to China, Al Hadath and Al Arabiya channels report citing sources. According to them, Tehran wants guarantees from Beijing before reaching an agreement with the US. In mid-May, Iranian Abbas Araghchi indicated readiness to discuss Moscow's proposal to ship enriched uranium to Russia.
