Authorities announced urgent evacuation of Vitim and Peleduy settlements in Yakutia due to rising water levels in the Lena River, the administration of the Lensk district reported. As of 04:00 Moscow time on May 11, the water level at Vitim reached 1,040 cm. The dangerous level is 950 cm, the dam level is 1,090 cm. In the next 24 hours, water levels will continue to rise to 1,070-1,120 cm.
